Jacey said something funny today that reminded me of something he said LONG ago that made me laugh.  He was in the middle of being potty trained and was wearing underwear for the first time.  He had been running around and playing when all of a sudden he started freaking out and yelled, "Mom, my bum's going crazy!"  I ran over to him to discover that he was experiencing his first wedgie.


Today we were eating breakfast and I said something that made my kids laugh.  A few seconds later Jacey said, "my bum was so surprised it tooted."  The way he talks about his bum like it's a body part that acts on it's own free will and is not dependent of him, reminded me of the first experience.


The other night Jeffrey took Jacey out for a boys' night to go see Kung Fu Panda 2.  Sadly it was only in 3D and that was hard for Jacey to handle.  About 50 minutes in, Jacey leaned over to Jeffrey and said "Dad, let's go home.  We can just download it."


We slept over at Nana and Grandpa's house this past weekend and in the morning while Nana got ready, she dolled Jaclyn all up with curly hair and lipstick.  She had also given Jaclyn a new frilly purple skirt and some adorable play high heels.  Jeffrey was complimenting her on her beauty, telling her she looked like a princess and Jaclyn's reply was, "I'm going out with a boy."
