My visiting teachers came over this morning. When they got here, Tommy said (in front of them), "You're right mom! I do remember the old ladies!!" 

Wow, such gems!  I found this post in my draft folder.  It was so long ago that I don't remember the context of them anymore, but I'm just going to post what the quote was and who said it.  They're funny enough they need no explanation!

Jacey  - "I wish I had as much gold as mario.  All the coins he gets from all the worlds.  He's rich."

Jaclyn - "I hate Dora.  She nevers listens to me."

Jaclyn - "Thanks for crying Jace.  I didn't want to hear that sound on tv."

Jacey and Jaclyn were racing to finish their lunch.  Jaclyn shovelled all of her food into her mouth.  She then got down, went into the kitchen, spit it all into the garbage.  Then she came running out and sang to Jacey, "I-I beat you!"

I heard Thomas squealing in the other room.  I went in to find Jaclyn sitting on his back. I said, "Jaclyn, get off of him!!  He's not a horse!  He's a baby!"  She got off and said, "Oh.  I thought he was a pig."

I don't remember who this conversation was with - "Who wants to go to the museum?"  "Which one???"  "The Dinosaur museum!!"  "Gasp!  This world has one??"

Jaclyn stole Jacey's last M&M which caused Jacey to erupt in tears, so she was sent to time out.  To calm him down, I gave him some early easter candies, which Jaclyn didn't get.  She was so upset and after she came out of timeout and apologized to Jacey, she said, "Jacey, will you hit me later so you can go to time out and I can get some easter candies?"

Jacey said to me after we thought we heard some lightning. "Have you ever been struck?"  Laugh.  "No, Jacey, I haven't."  Jacey thought for a second, "Well, have you ever been lovestruck?"  More laughter, "Yes, I definitely have!"

Jacey asked me, "Mom, why do some people use finger writing?"  "You mean, hand writing?"  "Oh yeah, that."

It's been a long time since I've blogged here and I'm sad to say I've missed a LOT of funny things.  Especially from Thomas.  Sad.  I'm going to try to be better.  I only have one thing to post today.

I was emptying the dishwasher and pulled out a glass that I had gotten from my grandma and grandpa's house before they sold it.  It was broken!  :( I said "You're kidding me, Grandma had these glasses for years and I've only had them for a few months and I already broke one!"  Jaclyn said, "That was Grandma's glass?  Well no wonder it broke, it's so old!!" Made me feel a little better.
